Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
School-Based SLP or CFY Opportunity | Beach Park, IL Area
A welcoming school district near Beach Park is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow (CFY) for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive elementary school setting with a manageable caseload and consistent schedule.
Whether you're an experienced SLP or a motivated CFY looking to begin your school-based career, this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact with Kâ5 students in a collaborative educational environment.
Position Overview
- Full-time, school-based SLP or CFY position
- One school site
- Kâ5th grade caseload
- Resource setting
- Caseload of approximately 25â30 students
Schedule
- 35.5 hours per week
- Hours: 8:25 AM â 4:00 PM
School year assignment:
- Start Date: 8/17/2026
- End Date: 5/28/2027
New staff training: TBD
Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Conduct evaluations and maintain documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
- Participate in IEP meetings and support student progress goals
Qualifications
- Active Illinois SLP license or eligibility
- Previous school-based experience is a plus, but not required
