Security Trainee

job summary: About the Role We are seeking a Security Engineer specialized in workload identity to join a world-class cybersecurity team. In this role, you will be instrumental in deploying and scaling SPIFFE/SPIRE infrastructure to provide secure identity services for a wide array of cloud-native workloads. You will bridge the gap between infrastructure and security, ensuring that service mesh and Kubernetes environments remain robust and authenticated.

education: Bachelors

responsibilities: Lead the deployment and configuration of SPIRE Server and Agents. Develop custom workload and node attestors to enhance identity verification. Manage the lifecycle of SVIDs, including issuance and automated rotation. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate identity solutions into Istio and Envoy-based architectures.

qualifications: Workload Identity: Strong proficiency in SPIFFE and SPIRE. Orchestration: Hands-on experience with Kubernetes security and networking. Security Protocols: Deep understanding of X.509 and JWT issuance. Attestation: Ability to customize attestation logic for enterprise nodes.
