Essential Job Functions
The Cloud Intelligent Automation (IA) Engineer II is responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining cloud-based automation workflows to improve operational efficiency and support innovation initiatives. This technical role requires expertise in robotic process automation, scripting, and an understanding of data science and advanced computing technologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented and changed as necessary.)
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain automation solutions, ensuring their reliability, scalability, and optimal performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and data scientists, to understand requirements and provide technical expertise in the implementation of automation solutions.
- Contribute to the ideation and prototyping of innovative applications, enhancing the team's capabilities in automation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot automation processes, making necessary adjustments and enhancements to meet business objectives.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users, ensuring effective adoption and proficient use of automation tools.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of automation standards, best practices, and documentation, as well as conduct code reviews for junior developers to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education, Work Experience, Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud automation, with proficiency in RPA tools such as Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UiPath, and Microsoft Power Automate, as well as scripting languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow professionally.
- Familiarity with data engineering, generative AI, and natural language processing.
- Experienced with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
