Job Description

Our employee-owners enjoy a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment. We are currently seeking a Junior Accountant to join us in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for new project set-up, invoicing, accounts payable and receivable. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

What you will be doing:

• Responsible for the transactions related to the Revenue Cycle. Including but not limited to Generating Customer Invoices, generating daily bank deposits of customer payments, reconciling sub-ledgers with the General Ledger, and maintaining receipts in the manual checkbook.


• Responsible for the transactions related to the Disbursement Cycle. Including but not limited to entering vendor bills, generating weekly check runs of vendor and expense report checks. Reconciling sub-ledgers with the General Ledger, and maintaining disbursements in the manual checkbook.


• Updating multiple databases with project and client information, including but not limited to Salesforce, KeyedIn, Sage Intacct, Worldox, and other network directories.


• Billing and Accounting analysis, focusing on revenue and dispersement cycles


• Supporting and backing-up staff with assigned administrative overflow and other project-based work as needed

What do we look for in candidates?

• Three to five years of relevant work experience in a professional services firm supporting remote teams.
  


• Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy across multiple systems.


• Ability to prioritize own work with strong attention to detail while exhibiting exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce and Sage Intacct a plus.
  


• Ability to generate respect and trust from team members and manage through operational changes.

Pay Rate : $55,000 - $65,000
