Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Nursing – ORT skills required
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
• Experience supporting surgical teams in an operating room environment
• Ability to perform scrub duties effectively across a range of procedures
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Commitment to maintaining patient safety and confidentiality at all times

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of surgical patient care, including preparation, monitoring, and transport
• Perform scrub duties for both emergency and scheduled surgeries, ensuring instruments and supplies are sterile and readily available
• Work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other staff to provide seamless operative services
• Remain alert and adaptable in fast-paced, high-stakes situations
• Stay up to date with advancements and best practices in the surgical operating room through continued education
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and the surgical team
