Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contracted Social Worker is needed to provide support in a K-12 school setting, covering a maternity leave in Aurora, IL. This role focuses on delivering compassionate and effective social work services to students across all grade levels during a leave of absence.

Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Social Worker License
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience in school social work preferred
• Ability to engage with students, families, and staff in a positive and collaborative manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide counseling and support services to students in grades K-12
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and external agencies to address student needs
• Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student situations
• Assist in crisis intervention and provide referrals to community resources
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all district and legal requirements

Schedule and Location:

• Location: Aurora, Illinois
• Duration: Leave coverage contract
• Workweek: 5 days per week, 37.5 hours total
