Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
About the Position
- Telemetry/remote cardiac monitoring and rapid response team participation
- Colostomy care, feeding tube management
- Pre/post hemodialysis management, renal failure care
- IV therapy including blood products, central and peripheral line management, PICC line care, IV starts
- Medications: Heparin, Insulin, PCA management
- Neurological care: spinal cord injuries, surgical drains
- Ortho trauma experience
- Respiratory care: CPAP/BiPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, non-invasive airway management, suctioning, oxygen therapy, tracheostomy care
- Wound care including wound vac management
- Isolation precautions
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience (first-timers NOT accepted)
- Active Illinois RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Weekend coverage every other weekend
- No on-call required
- Must float to other units as needed within scope
