Forklift Operator
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in Granite City, IL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by efficiently moving materials and products. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, lift, and stack products safely.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring that products are handled with care and accuracy.
- Conduct regular inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance needs to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods.
- Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording product movements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as needed.
