Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized MRI procedures for inpatients, outpatients, and ED patients of all ages.
- Verify physician orders and consult with radiologists as needed; prep patients and provide exam explanations and education.
- Adhere to MRI safety standards; administer contrast media and follow age-related protocols and safety procedures.
- Assist radiologists with MR procedures as requested; evaluate MRI images for technical quality.
- Operate and maintain MRI equipment and supplies; conduct routine calibrations, warm-ups, and safety checks.
- Maintain computer system workflows and report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.

Requirements
- ARRT Certification required (not AMRIT)
- BLS Certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent GE MRI experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform MRI procedures with appropriate safety practices
- Ability to work nights on a 4x10 schedule and handle travel assignment requirements
