Production Support Coordinator – Manufacturing
Location: Bensenville, IL
Type: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $24 – $27/hr

Are you looking for a fast-paced, hands-on role where you can make a real impact on the production floor every day? We're seeking a Production Support Coordinator to help keep jobs on track, parts flowing, and operations running smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone with shop floor experience who’s ready to grow—or a sharp, motivated recent graduate eager to get their hands dirty in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Support daily production needs and ensure work stays on schedule

• Walk the shop floor to monitor job progress, follow up on schedules, and resolve blockers

• Kit parts and coordinate with welders and production leads to keep workflow moving

• Adjust production plans and parts as needed to meet customer specs and delivery requirements

• Handle customer rescheduling requests and evaluate feasibility with internal teams

• Work cross-functionally with purchasing, shipping, inspection, and machining departments

• Help maintain production flow and efficiency by responding to changing priorities in real-time

What We’re Looking For:

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, machining, or production support preferred

• Alternatively, recent college grads with a strong technical mindset and willingness to learn will be considered

• Strong understanding of general machining concepts (milling vs. turning)

• Basic computer proficiency : Outlook, Word, Excel (charts, file imports/exports)

• Clear communicator, quick learner, and confident decision-maker

• High energy, flexible, and eager to take initiative in a fast-changing environment

• Comfortable working cross-functionally and juggling shifting priorities
