Operating Room Clinical Coordinator (RN)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts + Call | Gateway Regional Medical Center

Gateway Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Operating Room Clinical Coordinator (RN) to support leadership and coordination of our Surgical Services team.

This role is ideal for a strong OR nurse who is ready to step into a leadership-focused position while remaining clinically engaged in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

In this role, you will help lead daily OR operations and support safe, efficient surgical care by:

• Coordinating daily workflow and surgical case flow in the Operating Room
• Supporting and supervising OR nursing staff and surgical team members
• Ensuring adherence to clinical best practices, policies, and safety standards
• Collaborating with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Helping resolve real-time operational and patient care needs
• Supporting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
• Promoting a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Call required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of Operating Room nursing experience required
• Prior charge nurse, coordinator, or leadership experience preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

• Competitive pay: $34.97–$52.46/hr
