CNC Lathe Technician

Acme Industries needs skilled CNC Lathe Technicians for our 2nd shift team. As a part of our prestigious company, you'll play a crucial role in transforming high-value castings into precision-engineered components using state-of-the-art FANUC-controlled CNC machines. Your shift will run from Monday to Friday, 4:20 pm to 2:50 am, and with overtime opportunities, you’ll find plenty of chances to sharpen your skills.

What you’ll do:

• Interpret and implement complex blueprints and instructions.
• Engage in advanced machining tasks with tight tolerances.
• Initiate basic setup processes across various jobs, with the potential to manage multiple machines.
• Ensure adherence to specifications with thorough part verification.
• Consistently comply with stringent safety standards, ensuring a clean workspace.
• Expand your skills with additional duties as required.

Candidate Profile:

• Proficient in English with basic computer skills.
• Five years or more of technical training and experience are ideal.
• Comprehensive knowledge of CNC machining techniques and tooling.
• Solid blueprint interpretation skills.
• Physical ability to manage 50-pound loads consistently.

Your Expertise:

• Proficient in GD&T, CNC Tooling, G-Code, and M-Code.
• Expert in continuous improvement and blueprint reading.
• Experience with CNC Lathe equipment such as Okuma or Mori Seiki.
