What You’ll Be Doing: You won’t just be turning wrenches; you’ll be the architect of industrial performance.

  • Create & Fabricate: Use your manual machining expertise to craft precision parts and repair complex equipment.

  • Build the Future: Play a lead role in building, installing, and fine-tuning new production lines.

  • Solve the Puzzle: Use calipers, micrometers, and your years of experience to troubleshoot malfunctions and keep the facility "Wowing" its customers.

Responsibilities

Using machinist/millwright skills: build, modify and maintain our ongoing or new industrial equipment lines.

• Fabricates new and repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment.

• Shows proficiency in reading and interpreting prints and can produce shop sketches for the build or repair task at hand.

• During a build or repair, determine any necessary changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting new or used parts, using rules, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments.

• Job reporting capabilities.

• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer’s instructions, and engineering specifications; troubleshooting malfunctions.

• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation; listening for problems; using precision measuring and testing instruments.

• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices; using hoists, cranes, and hand and power tools; examining form and texture of parts.

• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools, levels, plumb bobs, and straightedges.

• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

The essential functions of this role include:
