Project Coordinator
Summary of the Role:
As a Project Coordinator, you will support the successful execution of commercial furniture and facility projects after the sale is complete. You will work closely with Project Managers, Sales, vendors, installers, and client representatives to coordinate project activities, maintain accurate information, and ensure projects move forward smoothly.
This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, proactive, and accountable. Success comes from strong communication, attention to detail, ownership of responsibilities, and consistent follow-through.Key Responsibilities:
The list of duties and responsibilities is diverse and include the following:
- Coordinate and communicate deliveries, installations and service activities with clients, vendors and field teams
- Schedule and confirm site access, building requirements and project logistics
- Prepare Certificates of Insurance (CoI) for labor services
- Track shipments, vendor acknowledgements and project milestones
- Assist with change orders, punch list activities and warranty claims
- Coordinate collection of project documentation required for billing and project closeout
- Identify potential scheduling conflicts or execution risks and escalate concerns promptly
- Provide administrative and operational support to support the project team as needed
Desired Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience with coordinating projects, services, logistics, construction, facilities or related activities
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- “In it to win it” attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Professional, dependable and customer service-oriented
- Demonstrates initiative, ownership, and follow through without requiring constant direction
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, experience with NetSuite or similar business systems is a plus
- Knowledge of office furniture helpful
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience preferred
