I am currently working with a leading Chicago-based law firm , who are actively looking to recruit an experienced Attorney who specializes in commercial litigation .

Job Description:

This firm is seeking a talented and motivated Business Litigation Associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-profile cases, collaborate with experienced attorneys, and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities:

• This role will assist with a broad array of matters, including sophisticated and complex commercial litigation cases, including those that involve all aspects of technology, business, and intellectual property disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Assist with deposition preparation and witness interviews.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings.
• Provide general support to the litigation department as needed.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a leading accredited law school.
• Admission to the state bar of Illinois
• 5+ years of experience in business or commercial litigation.
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to client service and ethical practice.

• Annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.

• Anticipated Base Pay range (dependent on experience): $200k-$250k per annum
