Software engineer

We're seeking a curious, motivated Software Engineer AI to join our team and help build the next generation of intelligent talent technology. This is a hands-on opportunity to immerse yourself in the development and deployment of AI and machine learning within a real-world, enterprise SaaS environment. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, delving into large language models, recommender systems, visualization techniques, and other AI tools that make work more personal and efficient.

In this fixed-term role you will...

• Support the design, development, and testing of AI-driven features within Cornerstone's Galaxy ecosystem.

• Contribute to projects alongside senior engineers, involving natural language processing (NLP), recommendation systems, generative AI, and data visualization.

• Help collect, clean, and prepare datasets for model training, evaluation, and visualization.

• Experiment with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and visualization libraries (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly).

• Learn about MLOps concepts such as model deployment, monitoring, and retraining.

• Assist in writing clean, well-documented code using Python and related data, AI, and visualization libraries.

• Create and present clear visualizations to communicate model performance, data insights, and project findings to the team.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to team discussions and demos.

• Stay curious-research new AI tools, visualization techniques, libraries, or ideas that could enhance our platform.

You've got what it takes if you have...

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or significant depth of experience in AI engineering.

• Experienced using machine learning concepts and Python programming.

• Deep knowledge and understanding of AI frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-Learn) is a plus.

• Experience in LLMs, Generative AI, or recommendation systems.

• Eagerness to build and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, team environment.

• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to present technical information visually and clearly.
