Senior Corporate Accountant

Our client is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to join its growing finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys owning the month-end close process, analyzing financial results, improving accounting processes, and partnering with multiple departments to support business operations.

Requirements of the Senior Corporate Accountant

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and corporate accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities of the Senior Corporate Accountant

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analyses, and supporting schedules.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance reporting.
• Support fixed asset accounting, inventory accounting, intercompany transactions, and capital expenditure reporting.
• Partner with Operations, Sales, and Finance to analyze business performance and resolve accounting issues.
• Assist with audits, regulatory compliance, and the maintenance of internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting accuracy.
• Perform additional accounting and financial reporting duties as assigned.

Full-Time, DIRECT HIRE

Pay is $90,000 - $110,000 annually, based on experience
