Dermatology Specialists of Illinois is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to provide exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dermatologists and physician assistants with clinical procedures and patient care
- Prepare patients for examinations and treatments
- Record patient medical histories, medications and vital signs
- Manage and maintain patient records and documentation
- Assist in skin biopsies, removals and surgical procedures
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians
- Educate patients on treatment plans and skincare routines
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Coordinate with other staff to optimize patient flow and office efficiency
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred, but not required - willing to train and certify the right person
- Previous experience in dermatology or a similar medical field is a plus
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
