Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, visitation rights, and spousal support cases and occasional matters in real estate and estate planning
• Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, and court filings with precision and clarity
• Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel to achieve favorable outcomes for clients
• Represent clients in court proceedings and settlement conferences with professionalism and confidence
• Maintain detailed case files and ensure all deadlines are met in accordance with court rules and procedures
• Collaborate with clients to understand their goals, provide clear legal advice, and keep them informed throughout the legal process

Experience

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to the state bar is required
• Proven experience in family law practice or related litigation environments; minimum of one year courtroom experience required
• Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and courtroom procedures
• Excellent writing skills for drafting clear legal documents and correspondence
• Effective negotiation skills to resolve disputes amicably while advocating zealously for clients’ interests
• Prior legal administrative experience managing case files and court documentation efficiently

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
