Soccer House is a purpose-built clubhouse for the game, designed to give fans the best way to watch, follow, and celebrate the game. From early-morning kickoffs to late winners, clásicos to cup finals, midweek fixtures, red cards, and cold rainy nights in Stoke, this is a place made to live with the full rhythm of the sport.

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations, support a growing team, and ensure an exceptional guest experience across all service periods, from calm weekday afternoons to high-energy weekends.

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all front- and back-of-house operations while maintaining high standards of service, hospitality, and financial performance. This role requires a hands-on leader who is comfortable managing high-volume service, building strong teams, and adapting to the unique scheduling demands of a soccer-focused venue.

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service across café, bar, and kitchen environments
• Lead hiring, training, scheduling, and development of FOH and BOH staff
• Maintain a positive, accountable, and professional workplace culture
• Manage labor, inventory, and cost controls with full P&L responsibility
• Ensure consistent, high-quality guest experiences and handle issues calmly and effectively
• Enforce all health, safety, food handling, and liquor compliance standards
• Coordinate staffing and execution for special events
• Collaborate with ownership on promotions, programming, and operational improvements

• Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
• Experience in high-volume restaurants, bars, or sports-driven venues strongly preferred
• Proven ability to lead teams of 20+ employees
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, food/liquor costs, and operational logistics
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and decisive during high-pressure service
• Availability to work a demanding schedule that aligns with the global soccer calendar, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays
• Proficiency with modern POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools

• Knowledge of or interest in global soccer
• Experience overseeing both specialty coffee programs and craft bar programs

• Salary range: $85,000–$95,000
