The Role – Accounting ManagerAs Accounting Manager, you are the quality bar.You’ll lead and develop a team of Account Leads serving multiple restaurant clients, ensuring every financial package that leaves EHS is timely, accurate, and restaurant ready. You’ll review work, coach talent, improve processes, and act as the final checkpoint before financials hit an owner’s inbox. Your work directly impacts how owners make decisions, plan growth, and sleep at night.This is a leadership role for someone who:· Cares about precision· Enjoys developing people· Understands restaurants move fast and accounting has to keep up What Your Day to Day Will Look Like· Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of accountants and bookkeepers supporting multiple restaurant clients· Oversee and review full monthly close: reconciliations, journal entries, sales tax, and reporting· Catch and correct GL issues before reports go out — accuracy is non-negotiable· Set and enforce restaurant-first deadlines while maintaining quality· Improve internal workflows and review processes to increase efficiency and consistency· Act as a steady, trusted leader during busy closes and growth periods
What You Need to Succeed
- Ideally, 5+ years in accounting, including 3+ years in a supervisory or review role
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality accounting, especially with multi-location operations, is a strong plus, and a passion for the industry goes a long way
- Bring your integrity and sharp technical accounting abilities—your finely tuned error radar doesn’t miss a thing
- Hands-on with QuickBooks Online, Restaurant365, and Toast POS
- Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, reconciliations, troubleshooting
- A coaching mindset—pride in developing others’ skills and confidence
- CPA or Accounting degree required
- Flexibility to balance multiple clients, tight deadlines, and exacting detail
