Embedded Software Engineer- OPAL RT
Test Engineer to support verification of new Energy Storage Systems, previous experience with OPAL RT and electrification are required.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collaboration of test plan development
- Delivery of test results
- Work with team to develop test plans, conduct testing, and document test results
- Collaboration with System Engineers and software developers
- Perform Software HIL bench tests using OPAL-RT
- Write test procedures and reports, and present on test outcomes.
- Evaluate controls features with MIL, SIL and HIL.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer engineering, aerospace or other engineering degree with 2+ years’ hands-on experience in the electrification industry.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Ability to work hands on with testing in MIL, SIL, HIL and app.
- Verification and hardware in the loop experience
- Previous experience with OPAL RT and electrification are beneficial skills
- Vector CANape or CANalyzer experience
