Project Manager / Insurance M&A Due Diligence
An exceptional opportunity to join a leading insurance broking and advisory firm, supporting private equity clients through the full life-cycle of M&A transactions. You'll play a key role in assessing insurance programs, identifying risks, and delivering strategic insights that inform investment decisions and post-close integration. This role is ideal for a technically strong insurance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment and wants exposure to private equity, M&A, and strategic advisory work.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead and support the commercial insurance due diligence process for private equity transactions, managing engagements from initial review through to completion. You'll analyze target company insurance programs - including structure, claims history, collateral, and spend - to identify uninsured risks and coverage gaps, and work closely with internal specialists, private equity deal teams, target company leadership, and third-party advisors to ensure a thorough and efficient diligence process. You'll also help identify and resolve transaction-related insurance issues, collaborating with clients' legal, financial, and operational advisors. In addition, you'll support the placement and underwriting of Representations & Warranties (R&W) insurance, prepare and present detailed due diligence reports summarizing key findings and recommendations, and assist portfolio companies post-close to align insurance programs and risk management strategies with private equity-backed structures.
You
We are interested in talking to candidates at all levels from (Associate to Director) 1-10 years of experience gained within a brokerage or carrier environment, preferably within a Project Manager role with insurance due diligence experience within M&A. You will have a solid understanding of commercial insurance lines and want to work directly with private equity funds and other investors.
