Multi-Trade Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Reports to: Director of Operations

A day in this role

When you arrive, you already have a prioritized list of preventive tasks ready to go. You walk the office and plant with the Director of Operations, noting what’s running smoothly and where attention is needed. A call comes in about a minor HVAC hiccup—you diagnose it quickly, coordinate a contractor to handle a specialized repair, and then pivot to a planned inspection. Between tasks, you check inventory levels for parts and supplies, submit a purchase need for approval, and coach teammates on safety best practices.

Throughout the day, you make thoughtful trade-offs, juggling multiple work orders without losing sight of safety, quality, or timelines. If an emergency pops up, you’re the steady voice—alerting the right people, following protocol, and restoring operations safely and swiftly. Every task you touch aligns with strict standards: all work is performed in compliance with EPA, HAZMAT, OSHA, and our company safety rules and policies.

  • Handling minor building, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, upgrades, and painting repairs

Who you’ll work with

  • Direct, daily communication with the Director of Operations and other internal stakeholders
  • Regular coordination with sub-contractors when specialized expertise is required

  • Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance
  • Hands-on experience with a range of tools and equipment, including small hand tools and forklifts
