Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg
- Administer care for patients with ortho conditions such as total hip and knee replacements, and spinal surgeries.
- Treat general MedSurg conditions including CHF, COPD, and various organ issues.
- Perform PIV starts, wound care, and manage dressings and wound vacs.
- Administer drips for insulin and heparin patients.
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg
- 2 years of experience in a relevant setting
- Active RN License
- BLS Certification; NIHSS preferred
