Material Handler - $20 - $24/hr

This position is temp-to-hire position

Integrity Trade Services is seeking an experienced Material Handler for a fabrication client located in South Holland, IL

Responsibilities:

• Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries

• Labeling every product and placing them accordingly

• Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process

• Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory

• Handling returns by completing technical documentation and other required communication

• Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance

• Conveying purchasing requirements and keeping data on the availability of products in short supply

• Collaborating with internal departments to locate missing packages, fix incorrect deliveries and replace damaged products

Location: South Holland, IL

Schedule/Shift Details

• Monday – Friday

• 1st shift

• OT / Extra days as needed

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Sit-Down forklift experience is required.

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Dependability and consistent attendance record.

• Basic math and computer literacy.

• Team player mindset with a strong work ethic.

• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or varying shifts as needed.

• Ability to work in cold environments.

• Capable of repetitively lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.

• Physically able to bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform other frequent movements.

• IL Paid Leave for All Workers

• An employee that works in Illinois is entitled to accrue and use up to 40 hours of paid leave during a 12 month period or a pro rata number of hours of paid leave under the provisions of the State of Illinois Paid Leave for All Workers Act.? The 12 month accrual period is considered to begin for new employees on the employees first day of employment.? An employee is entitled to begin using earned and accrued paid leave time 90 calendar days after commencement of employment.? Paid leave under this Act shall accrue at the rate of one hour of paid leave for every 40 hours worked up to 40 hours of paid leave

• 401(k) with company match for eligible employees.

Eligibility:? Active employees with one year of work and during that one year has completed 1,000 hours of service and is at least 21 years of age.? Entry dates into the 401(k) are:? 1/1 or 7/1 following the one year of service and completing 1,000 hours of work.

The company will match 100% of the first 3% of the employee contribution.? As well as, match 50% of the next 2% of the employee contribution. (The company contribution/match maximum is 4%)
