Welder
Welder Position
QPS Employment Group has a great Welder position available at a company in Quincy, IL. This is a 1st shift position with the opportunity for hire.
Wage: $20.52 per hour
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm
Welder Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:
- Set up and operate welding machines for metal fabrication.
- Read blueprints and production schedules to ensure accurate specifications.
- Inspect welded workpieces for quality.
- Utilize hand tools and welding equipment as required.
Welder Requirements:
Ability to lift 50100 lbs. consistently throughout shift. Stand for 812 hours per shift. Ability to grip, push, pull, and manipulate materials while frequently bending, stooping, twisting, and kneeling. Work in a loud, hot environment. Knowledge of MIG and sub-arc welding; certification preferred but not required (minimum 1 year of experience required).
