Pharmacy Floor Technician - 1st Shift

Onsite - Near the Hinsdale, IL Area | Full-Time

>>>> Join a fast-paced, high-volume pharmacy fulfillment team where accuracy, efficiency, and patient safety come first. As a Pharmacy Floor Technician, you’ll play a critical role in preparing prescriptions behind the scenes—ensuring every order is processed correctly before reaching the patient.

Job Responsibilities

Accurately fill and prepare prescription orders under pharmacist supervision

• Pick, label, and scan medications to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare prescriptions for final pharmacist verification
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in medication or scanning
• Assist with returns, disposal, and prepacking of medications
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workstation
• Support daily production goals in a high-volume environment
• Follow all HIPAA and regulatory requirements

✅ Key Skills Required

• Active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
• CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) credential
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Comfortable using computers, scanners, and data entry systems
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work at a steady pace

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience in pharmacy fulfillment or warehouse environments
• Familiarity with automation and scanning technology
• Strong organizational and workflow management skills

Work Environment & Schedule

• Structured pharmacy fulfillment setting (non-retail)
• Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Every other weekend: 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 3-week training program (weekday schedule)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hinsdale, IL.

The pay range for this position is $20.84 - $23.00/hr.
