Warehouse Inventory Specialist

THE POSITION:
The primary objective of the Inventory Specialist is to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the company’s inventory. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented team member to join our Kinter Family! If you bring a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and committed to maintaining accuracy, then Kinter is the company for you. The pay range for this role is fixed at $19 to $21 hourly, commensurate with experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for all inventory related issues.
• Work with other departments to identify and resolve inventory issues.
• Research discrepancies and ensure timely adjustments.
• Identify and report process or system issues that lead to inventory inaccuracies, and assist management in implementing improvements.
• Work with purchasing and quality control on all QC issues and rejections.
• Utilize ERP and wireless warehouse programs for inventory counts, order picks, and put away process.
• Train and monitor wireless warehouse processes related to inventory control.
• Complete piece counts requested by other departments.
• Manage daily cycle counting process.
• Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse experience (2+ years)
• Valid Class C driver’s license preferred; willingness to get class C license.
• Ability to lift or move heavy products up to 40 lbs.
• Available to work 40+ hours per week with overtime on an as needed basis.
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.

THE LOCATION:
Kinter is located on the outskirts of Waukegan, just minutes from Gurnee and Wadsworth. Warehouse located off of IL Route 41, which makes the commute easy from surrounding towns.
