Inside Sales Representative

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of our client, a growing Chicago-based company, for an Inside Sales Representative to join their revenue team. Day to day, you will spend most of your time on the phone and in email/CRM workflows, qualifying inbound interest, prospecting new accounts, and moving deals through the pipeline toward close. Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls and send emails to prospective customers daily
• Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns
• Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities in the CRM
• Conduct product demos and needs assessments over phone and video
• Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales quotas
• Negotiate pricing and terms within approved guidelines
• Collaborate with marketing to refine lead quality and messaging
• Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions
• Follow up promptly with quotes, contracts, and next steps
• Partner with account management for smooth customer handoffs

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of sales or inside sales experience preferred
• Strong phone presence and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable working toward daily call and activity targets
• Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus
• Ability to handle objections and close small to mid-size deals
• Organized with strong follow-up and time management habits
• Competitive, coachable, and resilient under pressure
• High school diploma required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Reliable and able to work a hybrid schedule in the Chicago area
