Application engineer

Responsibilities

• Teach operator training classes at both the home office and customer facilities.

• Provide customer phone support and on-site applications process development.

• Conduct machine demonstrations for customer visits and trade shows.

• Process machine samples for potential new customers.

• Develop cutting technology for new machine models.

Essential Skills

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to conduct presentations to small to mid-size groups.

• General understanding of mechanical blueprints and CAD/CAM programming.

• Minimum of two years of experience in CNC machine operation.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

• Ability to work independently and unsupervised in various locations.

• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Elgin, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $70000.00/yr.
