As a Security Officer Mobile Patrol Driver in Chicago, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing information with property management and/or public emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas of the property, assist with authorized access procedures, and report maintenance, lighting, and/or property issues that could affect daily operations.
  • Complete routine reports, incident documentation, and shift activity logs while following Allied Universal standards and site-specific instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
