Job Overview

Our partner Bryant Staffing Solutions is seeking a Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a leading professional services firm in a hybrid role (minimum three days in-office per week). In this position, you will oversee corporate tax engagements, including income tax planning, compliance, and ASC 740 accounting for income taxes. You will lead client projects across various industries while mentoring staff and supporting business development initiatives. This role offers a clear path to senior leadership opportunities.

You will collaborate with internal tax specialists and teams to deliver high-quality solutions and guidance to clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising engagement teams, reviewing complex tax returns, conducting tax provision work, and contributing to the firm's growth through client relationship management and business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple corporate tax engagements, including planning, compliance, and consulting projects.
• Provide guidance on corporate income tax and ASC 740 provisions, including OneSource Tax Provision software.
• Review and supervise preparation of complex tax returns and accounting for income taxes.
• Develop and mentor junior staff while managing engagement performance and workflow.
• Support business development by leveraging client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients and internal teams while ensuring quality and compliance.
• Stay current with tax legislation and industry best practices.
• Participate in professional development and networking activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to client confidentiality and professional standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Master's in Taxation, LLM in Taxation, or JD preferred).
• Active CPA license or JD with active law license.
• 5–7 years of progressive tax compliance or consulting experience.
• Experience in corporate income tax and ASC 740 accounting.
• Proficiency in US GAAP, corporate tax laws, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public accounting, particularly in top 20 accounting firms.
• Exposure to multiple industries such as manufacturing, technology, pharma, consulting, engineering, telecommunication, or transportation.
• Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software.
• Track record of business development and client relationship growth.
