About the Job!

Gentex is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Product Manager to lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution for our core web platforms, with a strong focus on identifying and integrating impactful Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) capabilities. You will be at the forefront of driving innovation, enhancing user experiences, and optimizing our web presence through the strategic application of intelligent technologies. This role requires a blend of technical depth, product management acumen, and a passion for exploring the transformative potential of AI.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience 
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on web platforms and a demonstrable track record of successfully launching and managing digital products.
• Proven experience in identifying and integrating AI/ML capabilities into web applications or digital experiences 

Preferred Experience : 

• Experience with specific AI/ML use cases relevant to web platforms (e.g., personalization, recommendation engines, chatbots, content generation, fraud detection).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities:

• Web Platform & CMS Ownership: Manage the stability, scalability, and security of Gentex's enterprise web platform. Oversee day-to-day operations of CMS tools, integrations and projects ensuring timely content updates and troubleshooting. 
• Leverage strong knowledge of web development technologies, SEO, and commerce platforms including payment gateways and checkout systems to support performance and user experience.
• Product Ownership: Define a product vision and develop a short and long-term roadmap for internal teams and external partners to be able to execute and serve as subject matter expert for the enterprise web platform.
• Governance, Security & Compliance: Champion web privacy and security compliance and help maintain data governance. Proactively identify security and compliance issues and coordinate with legal and/or security teams to address them.
• Product Vision and Strategy: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our web platforms, incorporating AI and ML initiatives to achieve key business objectives.
• AI Opportunity Identification: Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML to improve user engagement, personalize experiences, automate processes, enhance content delivery, optimize performance, and drive data-driven decision-making across our web properties.
• Requirements Definition: Translate market research, user needs, technical constraints, and AI/ML possibilities into detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, data science, marketing, and other stakeholders to prioritize, plan, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment and effective communication.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor and analyze web performance and user behavior to define KPIs, assess AI feature impact, and drive data-informed improvements that optimize site effectiveness and iterate on product offerings. 
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for both web platform performance and the impact of integrated AI features. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and iterate on product offerings.
• Technical Leadership: Possess a strong understanding of web technologies, architectures, and development processes, as well as a solid grasp of AI/ML concepts, algorithms, and their practical applications.
• Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging AI/ML technologies relevant to web platforms.
• Product Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for our web platforms and AI initiatives, both internally and externally.
• Project Management: Lead cross-functional projects from planning through execution while ensuring timely, on-budget delivery in alignment with business and technical goals
• Stakeholder Management: Effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
