SAP Functional Consultant (QM / PLM)

(Mygo Consulting Inc. has an opening in Naperville, IL) SAP Functional Consultant (QM / PLM): Lead end-to-end SAP Quality management(QM), Production Planning(PP) and Batch release hub(BRH) implementations, rollouts, and enhancements across multiple industries. Perform deep configuration of SAP QM (Inspection Plans, in-process inspections, incoming/outgoing quality checks, Certificates, Notifications) and SAP PP (MRP, Shop Floor Control, Production Orders) and SAP BRH (master data, release workflows, status management, digital signatures and business rules) modules. Lead workshops with manufacturing, QA/QC, and regulatory teams to gather requirements and map them to SAP solutions. Configure and support electronic batch records in SAP, ensuring compliance with GMP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. Write functional specs for custom developments like batch record reports, digital signatures, barcode integration, and LIMS interfaces. Design workflows for automatic lot creation, results recording, usage decisions, and integration with manufacturing execution systems (MES). Support transition to S/4HANA, especially QM in process industries and BRH functionality, including Fiori-based enhancements. Configure and manage batch characteristics, status control, and traceability for raw materials and finished goods. Ensure seamless integration with other modules like MM,PP, SD, WM, PM, and FI/CO to support end-to-end business processes. Act as a liaison between business users, IT, and SAP teams to gather requirements, present solutions, and gain approvals. Implement approval steps and digital signatures (using SAP GxP compliance features or SAP DMS) for deviation closures. Analyze existing manufacturing, quality processes and recommend SAP best practices for continuous improvement. Responsible for extracting, transforming, and loading data related to Quality Management (QM) and Production Planning (PP) during SAP implementations or upgrades. Develop change management strategies and train end-users on SAP QM and BRH processes, including EBR navigation and approvals. Provide expert-level post-implementation support, resolve complex issues, and continuously improve QM, PP and BRH processes based on business feedback. Will work in various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. Requires Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, or related and 5 years of progressive experience, of which 5 years must include experience with SAP. $117,957.00 per year.
