Job Title: Payroll Specialist
Location: Bloomingdale, IL
Pay Range: $65K-$70K (Based on experience & qualifications)
Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k)

Role Overview :
Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Payroll Specialist for our client located in Bloomingdale, IL. Our client, a well-established distribution organization, is currently looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their department. Our client recently had an individual need to relocate which has now caused a vacancy in the department. This Payroll Specialist would be hired on as a permanent employee and be reporting to the Payroll Director . This Payroll Specialist would need to be comfortable working onsite Tuesday-Thursday. This role is an immediate need so the ideal Payroll Specialist would be able to interview and then start ASAP.

Payroll Specialist Responsibilities:

• Process multiple payrolls on a weekly and bi-weekly basis for up to 500 employees
• Handle multi-state payroll processing
• Enter and set up payroll deductions such as wage garnishments
• Process both hourly and salary employee payroll
• Communicate with employees regarding payroll discrepancies and inquiries
• Track and monitor employee PTO and sick time
• Audit payroll data
• Process one-time payouts

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of Payroll experience
• Ceridian Dayforce experience Required
• Excel experience with Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP’s Required
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
