Position Overview
International is hiring a road warrior to join their team!
International Motors has a great opportunity for a Technical Sales Manager- Powertrain .
The position will support fleet and dealer truck sales in the eastern US by building strong relationships and driving preference for integrated powertrain sales.
This person will be the SME for the truck and transmission customers and will be the liaison between the technical team and the customers.
Responsibilities
- Support industry events and the execution of Go to Market initiatives for new products
- Major focus on Dealer Readiness and Sales Enablement
- Work with colleagues in Truck Sales, Field Service, and Service Solutions departments across the territory to deliver the best customer experience for our customer solutions offerings, primarily supporting the S13 Integrated Powertrain
- Review vehicle specifications and parameters to identify opportunities to improve the customer experience and maximize product performance/ TCO
- Represent International and deliver compelling presentations on our new products at seminars, corporate meetings, dealer meetings, national accounts, and customer events
- Continuous learning of new products and ability to consult with customers on features benefits and advantages
- Provide leadership by adding value to our customer relationship management strategy
- Provide input to sales force to improve productivity and sales interactions (Lead qualification, Customer Contacted, Needs Analysis, Offer/Pitch, Close)
- Leads, manages, and coordinates communication and interfaces with customers and dealers at appropriate levels
- Provide Voice of Customer feedback to product planning, sales / aftersales, dealer operations, marketing, warranty and used truck
- 75% Domestic travel
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience
OR
- Master's degree and at least 3 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience
OR
- At least 8 years of sales, product support or engineering experience
- At least 1 years of lead experience
Additional Requirements
Qualified candidates, excluding current employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States. Desired Skills
- Extensive technical sales and TCO consulting skills
- Engineering degree a plus
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel. Possess ability to gather/consolidate/cleanse data, and provide reports that are easy to understand
