Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift - Direct Hire

TekPro is partnered with a growing metal manufacturing company in the area that is looking to add to their maintenance team due to continued growth. This is a

direct hire, first shift opportunity

supporting a fast-paced production environment with a strong focus on equipment reliability and uptime.

**What You’ll Be Doing

**

• Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot production equipment to minimize downtime

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy manufacturing equipment

• Work on equipment such as presses, conveyors, motors, and automated production systems

• Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild machinery components as needed

• Read schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams to identify and resolve issues

• Support installation and startup of new equipment

• Partner with production teams to quickly resolve breakdowns and improve equipment performance

• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives

**What We’re Looking For

**

• Experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment

• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems

• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and pneumatics

• Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings

• Experience working on heavy production equipment (presses, fabrication equipment, etc. preferred)
