Key Responsibilities

• Set up CNC machines (vertical and horizontal) according to setup instructions and programs provided by CNC Programming team.
• Load tools, establish offsets, verify programs, and perform first-piece inspections to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshoot issues, make minor edits to programs or offsets, and ensure smooth transition to production.
• Communicate setup details, inspection checkpoints, and operational instructions to CNC Operators.
• Maintain accuracy and quality by following geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD&T) standards and quality procedures.
• Record all setup details and changes in ERP system and communicate updates to Engineering.
• Perform basic preventive maintenance and support a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Participate in required meetings and training; support company goals for safety, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC setup experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
• Familiarity with CNC controls and ability to make program or offset adjustments.
• Basic computer and ERP system skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Flexible to work overtime or weekends as needed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• English proficiency for safety, documentation, and training.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the hourly pay range for this role is $25 -$35 $ USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
