Donor and events coordinator

SUMMARY Provide constant communication and develop relationships with donors to increase fundraising, donors and volunteers support to the organization. Management team members and Board members will assist in the long-term development of clients and donors. Along with a series of engaging events and outings, we work together to solidify volunteers, engage donors, and establish long-term partnerships. Building philanthropic partnerships. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Donations: - Communicate with the donors and friends of Child Link individually and through Blackbauld and publications at least eight times per year including the annual tax statements.
- Create and distribute advertising, newsletters, email messages, constant contact messages, event invitations, notices and correspondence to donors as directed by CEO
- Organize and implement drives and informational campaigns
- Coordinate the donor meetings and creation of PR folders
- Coordinate distribution of press releases and PSA's
Events: - Assist in the coordination of agency events including planning, vendor relations, preparation and set-up as well as working events and coordinating volunteers
- Apply grant/foundation events and deadlines
- Networking functions and other outreach activities to benefit the agency
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES- as needed QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily. - Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism to interact with people at all levels of an organization.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly understand and remember details about donors and projects.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including composing and editing clear and effective materials.
- Project management skills, including organizing and managing multiple complex projects with competing deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite and database applications.
