We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to lead our company-wide efforts in process standardization, training, health & safety, and continuous improvement. This role will play a critical part in building scalable systems that support operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and a culture of safety and accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

Process & Training Systems

· - Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across departments.

· - Build and manage training programs including onboarding, certification, and refresher training.

· - Monitor process compliance and provide coaching/support to line leaders and staff.

· - Implement document control systems to ensure versioning and accessibility.

Continuous Improvement

· - Lead root cause investigations and drive implementation of corrective and preventative actions (CAPA).

· - Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.

· - Support data collection and reporting for key metrics, including downtime, defects, near-misses, etc.

Cross-Functional Support

· - Partner with Quality, HR, Production, and Maintenance teams to align processes and close performance gaps.

· - Lead or support audit preparation (SQF, customer audits, etc.)

Qualifications:

· - Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Engineering, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

· - 5+ years in manufacturing, preferably in food, pharma, or CPG

· - Working knowledge of OSHA standards, Lean/Six Sigma tools, and training best practices

· - Strong writing, facilitation, and organizational skills

· - Proficient in Microsoft Office and document management systems

Preferred:

· - Six Sigma Green Belt or higher

· - OSHA 30 certification or equivalent

· - Experience with SQF or other GFSI schemes

· - Bilingual (Spanish) a plus, depending on workforce

· - Training records are current, complete, and tied to competencies

· - Safety incidents are low and corrective actions are timely and effective

· - Staff view the role as a coach and support system, not just a policy enforcer
