Overview

We are hiring an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join a growing legal team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of family law experience and be comfortable managing multiple cases, deadlines, and attorney support responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Draft pleadings, motions, notices, subpoenas, and related legal documents.

Coordinate meetings, phone calls, Zoom conferences, and court appearances.

Maintain calendars and monitor court, discovery, and internal deadlines.

Prepare and organize discovery requests and responses, interrogatories, financial affidavits, and supporting financial records.

Assist attorneys in preparation for hearings, trials, depositions, mediations, and conferences.

Coordinate court reporters, transcripts, and document production.

File pleadings and other legal documents in state and surrounding county courts.

Participate in weekly status meetings and provide updates on case progress, deadlines, discovery, and client-related matters.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of family law paralegal experience

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proactive approach to managing deadlines and attorney support

Proficiency with legal terminology and court procedures

Experience with e-filing systems and legal case management software (such as Clio, NetDocs, and similar platforms) preferred
