Position: DELIVERY DRIVER

DEPARTMENT: Operations

SUPERVISOR: Alex Ojeda

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Assist in loading and unloading product and delivering it to customer site in a safe and professional manner

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-Exempt

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Inspect truck before leaving warehouse for all safety issues using ISI standard form which is on ISI iPhones

A) Note any issues and do not driver truck if unsafe conditions exist

B) Make sure vehicle has enough gas to get to destination

C) Confirm truck vehicle and insurance documentations are in the vehicle

2. Deliver product to customer jobsites in safe and efficient manner

A) Confirm product is loaded so it will not move around during drive

B) Make sure product is loaded with appropriate protection to alleviate damages

C) Obey speed limits and driving conditions

D) Notify foreman when 20 minutes from jobsite

3. Have appropriate paperwork

A) Make sure in possession of appropriate paperwork that matches product on truck

B) Have delivery ticket signed by job foreman if delivering to installation site

C) If delivering directly to client, make sure client signs for acceptance of the product

4. Pick up product to be returned to warehouse for disposal or to be put in storage

A) Make sure a Product Return Form, including pictures of loaded product, is completed before leaving the jobsite

B) Have extra Product Return Forms on truck at all times

5. Pick up equipment for return to warehouse

A) Ensure that an Equipment Return Form, including pictures, is completed before leaving the jobsite

B) Have extra forms on truck

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

6. Assist in pulling product for shipment or delivery

7. Help foreman or customer unload product at jobsite

8. Clean interior of truck daily

9. Make sure vehicle is washed as needed but at least every two weeks

10. Any additional functions as may be deemed necessary by supervisor to support the organization or sales process

KEY QUALIFICATIOMS:

1. Appropriate driver license for vehicles being driven

2. Ability to speak and write English

3. Ability to communicate clearly and positively with client and ISI team to ensure successful installation

4. Basic Computer and math skills

5. Ability to manage time effectively

6. Attitude and understanding that all company policies are to be followed without exception

OTHER:

This position may require communication after regular business hours via phone or e-mail and this accessibility is a part of the job description. It may also require work on Saturdays and overtime when necessary.
