Associate Veterinarians
Client has multiple openings for Associate Veterinarians throughout the Chicago metro area.
The incumbent will ensure the highest quality of veterinary care and client education. The Associate Doctor mentors an effective and productive veterinary medical team, advocates for animals, educates clients on all aspects of animal health, ensures a safe and effective hospital environment and improves both the medical quality and business performance of the hospital. The incumbent will diagnose, treat and control diseases and injuries in Pets, will perform surgery on Pets and will prescribe and administer drugs and vaccines as appropriate. The incumbent will ensure patient satisfaction and will help to expand the patient base through client referrals.
Qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent degree, license in good standing with the state veterinary board, license with the Drug Enforcement Agency, proven ability to perform all basic surgeries as well as 2+ years of clinical practice experience.
