Business Analyst - Generative AI

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collect Requirements: Engage with business partners to gather detailed requirements for the Generative AI projects.
• Analyze Business Value: Evaluate the potential business value of different initiatives to help prioritize projects.
• Identify Key Capabilities: Determine the key Capabilities of projects that align with our GenAi strategy and goals.
• Facilitate Communication: Act as a liaison between the product management team and business partners to ensure clear and effective communication.
• Prepare Reports: Regularly prepare and present reports on project status, plans, and challenges.
• Support Strategic Planning: Assist the Generative AI Product Manager in strategic planning and setting product roadmap.
• Coordinate with Technical Teams: Work closely with technical teams to ensure that business requirements are clearly understood and effectively implemented.
• Monitor Project Progress: Keep track of project progress and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Conduct Market Research: Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Generative AI and how they can be leveraged for our business.
• Promote AI Understanding: Help promote a better understanding of AI capabilities and limitations within the organization to foster realistic expectations.

Requirements

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Master’s Degree in Information Management AND 5-8 years of experience

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Proficient in Azure DevOps
• Experience in a product management or business analyst role is a plus.
• Strong understanding of AI, specifically Generative AI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Understanding of Business Needs: Ability to understand and interpret the business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in business intelligence tools, data analysis, and statistical methods.

DESIRED SKILLS:

• Experience in Generative AI development
• 10 years or more of professional experience
• Experience around software engineering, analytics, artificial Intelligence
• Extensive experience as a Product Manager with ability to manage multiple projects

SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze information and use logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Risk Assessment: Ability to assess the risks involved in different strategies and choose the best course of action.
• Prioritization Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks based on their impact and alignment with strategic goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
