HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MATERIAL HANDLER IN ELK GROVE VILLAGE, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Material Handler to join our team in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the physical flow of raw materials, packaging supplies, and finished goods into and out of the production zone, warehouse, and shipping docks. The ideal candidate will possess the capability of safely lifting, carrying, and maneuvering items weighing up to 35–50 lbs, capacity to perform repetitive or short-cycle work effectively, and more listed below. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $20/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 6am to 6pm, Sunday to Wednesday
• Located in Elk Grove Village, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Drive and operate industrial forklifts to safely transfer finished goods, raw materials (such as plastics, resin, and colorants), and equipment components throughout designated facility locations.
• Shipping & Receiving: Efficiently load and unload incoming and outgoing freight from truck trailers. Perform dock inspections and verify accurate counts during staging.
• Production Supply: Keep production lines constantly fed with necessary pallets, packaging units, and reconfigured staging items to prevent downtime.
• Warehouse Organization: Stack and unstack materials precisely for maximum spatial efficiency. Assign specific row locations and enter product data to maintain clean inventory tracking.
• Labeling & Verification: Physically inspect and verify labels and tracking documentation to confirm that all items are correctly identified and categorized.
• Safety Protocols: Follow standard safe work procedures for forklift operators. Immediately report any equipment deficiencies, damaged materials, or environmental hazards to the Shift Supervisor.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Must be capable of safely lifting, carrying, and maneuvering items weighing up to 35–50 lbs.
• Capacity to perform repetitive or short-cycle work effectively under standard manufacturing plant stress.
• Strong physical and visual coordination, including excellent depth perception, near/far acuity, and peripheral vision required to safely navigate tight warehouse aisles and high-pedestrian manufacturing zones.
• Ability to work on your feet, mount/dismount machinery, bend, stoop, and stretch across an 8- to 12-hour shift.
