AP Specialist
- Compensation: $55,000–$65,000 + eligibility for discretionary bonus
- Benefits: Eligible to enroll in medical, dental and vision insurance.
- Location: Downtown Chicago, IL
- Work Model: Fully on-site .
- Process and code vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
- Review invoices for compliance and proper approvals
- Maintain organized, audit-ready accounts payable records
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end close activities
- Prepare reports and support financial tracking
- Communicate with vendors and internal teams regarding payments
- Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- 2+ years of experience doing accounts payable
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- High attention to detail and organization
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting systems
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a structured environment
