Data Center Logistics Technician

Performs assigned tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. Leverages process knowledge and best judgment to complete next task without direct supervision. Coordinates, prepares, and executes incoming/outgoing deliveries (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities). Ensures complete and detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs inventory cycle audits, data corrections, and various Data Center regulatory compliance or certification control audit activity. Performs material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management per standard process. Ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging. Performs destruction of data bearing devices (DBD) following all documented procedures and runbooks

“Responsible for break/fix support, shipping and receiving, ticketing system management, inventory control, logistics coordination, and data center operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

- basic understand of computer applications and software

- previous data center experience is a plus

- technology certifications is a plus

This is a Contract position based out of Northlake, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
