Volkswagon/Audi Service Technician
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Volkswagen / Audi Service Technician to join our service team. The ideal candidate will have experience diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Volkswagen and Audi vehicles while delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Location: Gurnee, IL 60031
Pay Rate: $28.00/hr-$32.00/hr (depending on experience)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm (some overtime may be required)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Volkswagen and Audi vehicles, including brakes, suspension, steering, and drivability systems
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using OEM diagnostic tools and software
- Complete engine, transmission, HVAC, and electrical system repairs as needed
- Perform vehicle inspections and accurately document findings and recommended repairs
- Follow manufacturer repair procedures and dealership quality standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with service advisors regarding vehicle status and repair needs
- Stay current with Volkswagen/Audi technical training and service bulletins
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an automotive technician (Volkswagen/Audi experience required)
- Volkswagen and/or Audi factory certifications a strong plus
- Proficiency in diagnostic equipment and computerized repair systems
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
