Position: Entry Level Event Coordinator Schedule: Weekends Off Salary: $800 - $1,095 per week Work Type: In-person (strictly on-site) Job Description: Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized individual to join our team as an Entry Level Event Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about event planning and eager to learn the ins and outs of coordinating successful events, from conception to execution. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, corporate meetings, and social gatherings. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of various events such as corporate meetings, conferences, and social gatherings.
- Communicate with clients to understand their event goals and requirements.
- Research and negotiate with venues, caterers, and vendors to secure the best options for events.
- Develop and manage event timelines and checklists to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Assist in the creation of event marketing materials, including brochures, invitations, and social media content.
- Support on-site event management, helping to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that arise.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and vendors.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain high standards and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with event management software is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as events may require.
